The story

Founded in 1999, E4E Relief pioneered the concept of corporate-sponsored, tax-advantaged emergency cash grants delivered to employees facing unexpected hardship. Over 25 years the organization grew to serve more than 215 companies, including 57 Fortune 500 clients. In 2023 the company made a significant product pivot: it launched a fully rebuilt technology platform (ImpactStack℠) in partnership with KPMG and Microsoft, extending eligibility to non-employee stakeholders such as suppliers, franchisees, and customers. The embedded finance angle centres on its payment-disbursement infrastructure — Bank of America N.A. as banking partner and Tipalti as global payout processor — enabling swift, compliant grant delivery at scale worldwide.
