The story

Founded in 2013 as a simple online accounting tool for Danish self-employed individuals, Dinero rapidly built a user base of over 90,000 active Danish companies by offering guided bookkeeping, invoicing, and VAT filing. After acquisition by Visma Group, it became Visma Dinero ApS, deepening its integration within the Visma product ecosystem while retaining its distinct SMB/freelancer positioning. The product has expanded beyond pure accounting to include a payroll module, business loan referrals, and a growing integration marketplace connecting to banking (Lunar), e-commerce, and other third-party systems via its REST API.
