The story

Founded in 2014 (operational from 2015), Destacame started as a free consumer credit-report aggregator in Chile, helping underserved consumers understand their debt situation using CMF and Reporte Comercial data. It evolved into a full debt-resolution marketplace, earning commissions from financial institutions when users settle overdue debts with discounts. By 2021–2023, Destacame layered in subscription plans (PRO and PRO+), direct micro-lending (SuperAvances), and a prepaid card (Tapp-branded), transforming from a data aggregator into a financial-wellbeing platform targeting Chile's credit-excluded population.
