Covercy

Can a real estate investment management SaaS own the full financial stack — banking, payments, and distributions — for commercial real estate GPs and LPs?

The story

Covercy began as a regulated cross-border payments company (Covercy Pay) operating in US, UK/EU, and Israel. The company subsequently pivoted to become the first banking-embedded alternative investment management platform for commercial real estate, embedding ACH payments, capital calls, waterfall distributions, and interest-earning accounts directly into fund administration workflows. The embedded banking layer was initially built on Unit (BaaS), then supplemented by Thread Bank as a sponsor bank for business deposit accounts. The strategic bet is that real estate GPs who adopt the SaaS will naturally consolidate their banking, payments, and investor management into one platform.
