“Can a multi-accounting-connector middleware platform own the full order-to-reconciliation workflow for complex multi-channel ecommerce operators?”
Connex Commerce started as a QuickBooks-sync tool for ecommerce sellers (dba JMA Web Technologies), focused narrowly on order data entry automation. It expanded its accounting connector surface area—adding Xero, Zoho, Sage, Odoo, and others—and adopted Apideck's Unified API to scale that breadth without building every integration in-house. More recently it repositioned as a full ecommerce workflow automation platform, adding payout reconciliation (matching Amazon/Shopify payouts to accounting books) and wholesale/ERP integrations as it targets multi-channel merchants with operational complexity beyond basic order sync.
