Codabox began in 2012 as a Belgian fintech delivering standardized CODA bank statement files to accountants and their SME clients. It expanded into adjacent document flows — SODA (payroll bookings), CARO (credit card statements), VOICI (sales invoices) and VOILA (electronic purchase invoices / Peppol e-invoicing) — becoming a data-aggregation hub between 19 Belgian banks, software vendors and accountancy firms. Originally part of Isabel Group, Codabox was acquired by Wolters Kluwer and now operates as Wolters Kluwer Belgium NV's accounting-data infrastructure arm.
