The story

Certta (formerly Caf / Combate à Fraude) began in 2019 as an internal identity-verification tool for a Brazilian fintech and spun out as a standalone antifraud vendor. In 2024 it rebranded to Certta and repositioned from a point KYC tool into a hub-model 'Intelligence Antifraud Hub' that bundles facial biometrics (FaceID), document verification (DocID, VerifAI), background checks (Profile Check), 2FA (AuthID), an AI assistant (Hubby), and a no-code decision engine (Flow). It also launched Certta Start, a self-serve SaaS tier for SMBs — a classic move down-market from an enterprise KYC vendor.
