The story
Founded 1990 as a CBN-licensed consumer finance leasing company, C&I Leasing evolved into a diversified business services conglomerate across four lines: Fleet Management, Personnel Outsourcing, Marine Services, and Citracks Telematics. It expanded regionally with subsidiaries in Ghana (Leasafric) and the UAE (EPIC International FZE). While still CBN-licensed, the company today is more of a services/leasing conglomerate than an embedded-finance platform, funded primarily through the Nigerian commercial paper market rather than any modern embedded-finance stack.
