The story

C&A Brasil is the Brazilian arm of the global Dutch retailer, publicly listed on B3 since 2019. In 2021 it ended its private-label credit partnership with Bradesco and launched C&A Pay to internalize the financial-services layer of the retailer. In 2023 the Brazilian Central Bank authorized C&A Pay as a Sociedade de Crédito Direto (SCD), giving the retailer its own regulated lending vehicle. Since 2024 the company has been executing its 'Energia' strategy, positioning C&A Pay as a full financial ecosystem (credit, insurance, partner benefits) attached to the core apparel retail business.
