The story
Founded in 2021 by three university friends in Munich, Buycycle established itself as Europe's leading marketplace for pre-owned premium bikes with buyer protection, secure escrow-style payments and insured shipping. In 2024 it expanded into the US (Buycycle Inc., NY) and launched a custom AI chat assistant. By 2026 it broadened beyond bikes into running gear and spun out its logistics as a standalone bike-shipping service for shops.
