The story

BravoTran was founded in 2021 as a spinoff from HubTran, which had been acquired by TriumphPay/Triumph Bancorp for ~$97M. A small team led by Matt Bernstein carried HubTran's OCR+workflow tech into freight forwarding — a vertical too niche for TriumphPay's factoring/brokerage focus. The company is a vertical AP-automation SaaS tightly integrated with CargoWise, and has since extended into vendor payments (Statements & Payments) and, via the 2025 Keystroke.io acquisition, invoicing/AR.
