The story

Founded in 2011 as a mobile POS startup to democratize card acceptance for Mexican SMBs priced out of bank-issued terminals. Grew organically to national coverage and expanded from hardware (Bluetooth reader) to digital products (payment links, e-commerce gateway, installment financing). Acquired by Kushki in 2022, which integrated Billpocket's merchant acquiring and mPOS capabilities into a broader regional aggregator/gateway/acquirer stack, while retaining the Billpocket brand and product suite for the Mexican market.
