The story

Founded in October 2022 by former Stripe engineer Adam Eagle, Beam set out to modernize payments and cash flow for construction contractors — a segment notorious for slow invoicing, delayed subcontractor payments, and paper-based workflows. The platform combined Stripe-powered payment acceptance with embedded corporate card issuing (CapitalOS), identity verification (Footprint), and construction-specific accounting integrations (Agave). Evolve Bank & Trust and First Internet Bank of India appear as banking infrastructure partners. Beam was acquired/merged by 2024 and now operates as an operating subsidiary.
