The story

BasharSoft was founded in 2009 as an Egyptian recruitment technology company and built WUZZUF into Egypt's leading white-collar job board. Over time it expanded into a portfolio of employment marketplaces — WUZZUF (white-collar), FORASNA (blue-collar Arabic-speaking workers), iCareer (employability education), and Recruitera (end-to-end hiring platform). The company has stayed focused on the recruitment marketplace category in Egypt and the wider MEA region rather than layering embedded financial services on top.
