The story

Bash is the unified e-commerce platform of The Foschini Group Limited (TFG), one of South Africa's largest retail groups. Rather than a standalone fintech, it operates as the digital storefront for TFG's portfolio of brands (Foschini, Markham, Sportscene, @home, etc.), with embedded payment options and credit issued by TFG itself via the TFG Money account. The embedded-finance angle is the in-house TFG Money credit product layered alongside third-party PSPs (PayU, Stitch) and BNPL (Payflex).
