The story

Banco Toyota do Brasil is the Brazilian captive bank of Toyota Financial Services Corporation, wholly owned by Toyota Motor Corporation. Founded in 1999, it exists to support Toyota vehicle sales in Brazil by providing consumer auto financing (CDC), fleet/dealer floor-plan financing, prestamista insurance, and (via a 2022 sister entity) a Consórcio group-purchase product. It is not an embedded-finance platform; it is a regulated Brazilian bank operating captive OEM financing exclusively through the Toyota dealer network.
