The story

Founded in 2018 in Cologne as NX Technologies GmbH under the bezahl.de brand, Aufinity Group built a vertical fintech focused on receivables and payment management for the European automotive industry (car dealerships). The product bundles invoice digitization, contactless payment, reconciliation and embedded finance into what the company now calls 'Autonomous Finance'. In 2025 it rebranded internationally as Aufinity and raised a $26M Series C to push the platform across Europe beyond its German home market, serving over 2,000 dealerships with ~195 employees.
