The story

Alfa is a Brazilian financial services group founded in 1966 (originally Banco Real de Investimento, later Banco Alfa de Investimento). It is now part of Grupo Safra and positioned as a specialized credit institution focused on payroll-deductible loans (consignado) for federal, state and municipal public servants, INSS retirees and pensioners, and CLT private-sector workers under Brazil's 'Crédito do Trabalhador' scheme. It also offers FGTS anniversary-withdrawal advances, home-equity credit and construction credit.
