The story

Founded in 2014, Aevi started as a hardware-linked payment terminal software company and evolved into a cloud-native, acquirer-agnostic in-person payment orchestration platform. The company positions itself as the missing orchestration layer between in-store POS devices and acquirers/processors, bringing eCommerce-style flexibility to physical retail. By 2023, the platform had processed over $100 billion in transactions, and in 2024 secured venture debt to fund international expansion across Financial Institutions, Fuel & Mobility, and Retail verticals.
