The story

Founded in 2007 as a Shari'a-compliant universal bank in Egypt following the acquisition of National Bank for Development, ADIB Egypt has evolved from a traditional Islamic retail bank into a broader financial services group. The bank expanded into non-bank financial services via its subsidiary ADIFinance Egypt (leasing, factoring, real estate finance). From 2020 onward, it accelerated digital transformation — launching internet and mobile banking, a digital wallet (Masarify), Meeza prepaid cards, and fintech partnerships (Khazna). It now positions itself as a full-stack Islamic financial services group targeting retail, SME, corporate, and high-net-worth segments in Egypt.
