The story
Founded 1996 as a custom software shop, Actsoft pivoted into GPS-based mobile workforce and field service management, building flagship products TeamWherx (formerly Mobile Workforce Plus) and Encore. In 2021 it added embedded card acceptance via Stripe for field techs, and in 2025 achieved FedRAMP Authorization to sell its Workforce Manager for Gov platform to U.S. federal agencies — deepening its vertical SaaS + regulated-market positioning rather than expanding aggressively into financial services.
