The story

Founded in 2009 in Denmark as a BNPL / point-of-sale financing platform for online and in-store merchants. Expanded from Denmark into Norway, Spain, and the US, serving merchants with try-before-you-buy and installment payment options. Launched ViaBill Plus, a revolving credit product for Danish consumers, and a co-branded ViaBill Mastercard, broadening from pure checkout BNPL into longer-term consumer credit. Debt financing from Fasanara Capital supports the on-balance-sheet loan book model.
