Tribe Payments was built as a modular, cloud-native payments infrastructure provider for fintechs, neobanks, and financial institutions. It offers both issuing and acquiring processing as standalone modules or bundled within a white-label digital banking platform. The company has positioned itself as an embedded finance enabler by partnering with specialist providers (Currencycloud for FX, Tink for open banking, ClearBank and Banking Circle for banking rails) rather than building all infrastructure in-house. The strategic bet is on being the orchestration and processing layer that powers other companies' branded financial products.
