The story

Founded in 2016 by former investment bankers, lawyers, and data scientists, Tradeteq set out to transform illiquid short-term trade finance instruments into investable, securitised medium-to-long-term products. The platform evolved from a simple marketplace connecting originators and investors into a full transaction-servicing infrastructure offering Securitisation as a Service, workflow automation, and on-demand reporting. By 2023 it launched Tradeteq Connect, broadening its distribution rails for originator clients. The company is now positioning itself as the backbone for structured credit in the trade receivables asset class, targeting the multi-trillion-dollar gap between corporate balance-sheet trade receivables and institutional capital markets.
