The story

Founded 2017 as MENA's first regulated open banking aggregator (AISP/PISP), Tarabut built a TPP-style API connecting regional banks. The company has since broadened beyond pure AIS/PIS into 'premium APIs' — embedded finance for SME POS lending, auto financing, and BaaS infrastructure for banks. It positions itself as the open finance + embedded finance rails for MENA, working with banks and fintechs across Bahrain, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
