The story

SinoPac Holdings is Taiwan's mid-tier financial conglomerate, formed through the 2006 merger of Bank SinoPac and International Bank of Taipei. The bank has pursued an aggressive digital transformation strategy anchored by the DAWHO digital account (2019) and a Temenos core banking upgrade that enabled 1.5 million new digital accounts and a top-4 digital banking position in Taiwan. The group has expanded its embedded-finance posture by publishing a developer portal with open banking APIs and offering Visa Direct international remittance, positioning Bank SinoPac as both a traditional commercial bank and a platform for third-party fintech integrations.
