The story

Swift Go is a product of SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication), not an independent company. Launched circa 2021, Swift Go is SWIFT's answer to the growing retail and SME cross-border payments market, enabling member financial institutions to offer their customers fast, predictable, fee-transparent international transfers direct from bank accounts. It leverages the SWIFT gpi rails and network infrastructure to compete with fintechs like Wise and Revolut by embedding low-value FX payment capability into banks' existing products.
