The story

Founded in 1998 as NetLedger, NetSuite pioneered cloud-based ERP before the term was widely used, predating Salesforce by roughly one month. After going public in 2007, it expanded from core accounting into a full cloud ERP suite covering CRM, inventory, payroll, and e-commerce.
