The story
Founded in 2022 as a fintech subsidiary of Omantel, Ompay entered the market as a digital wallet and prepaid card issuer for consumers in Oman. It quickly expanded its remittance corridor reach by partnering with Thunes for global payouts across 200+ destinations, targeting Oman's large expatriate workforce.
