The story

nShift was formed from the merger of several European multi-carrier shipping software companies (Consignor, Unifaun, Transsmart, Shipcloud, Webshipper) and rebranded in 2021 to become the largest delivery management SaaS platform in Europe. The company has progressively added embedded finance features — most notably embedded shipping insurance (via Cover Genius/XCover in 2023) — alongside its core delivery, checkout, tracking, and returns products. Its acquisition by Francisco Partners in 2022 accelerated the product portfolio consolidation into a single unified Delivery & Experience Management platform serving 1,000+ carriers and 450+ integrations.
