The story

Founded 2017 as a micro-mobility / ride-hailing app, MNT-Halan pivoted into financial services and became Egypt's largest non-bank lender to the unbanked. Through aggressive M&A (Talabeyah for B2B FMCG distribution, Tam Finans for Turkey expansion) it has assembled a 'financial super app' bundling microfinance, consumer lending, BNPL, prepaid cards, wallets, and savings. It now positions itself as Lending-as-a-Service infrastructure for MENA and Africa.
