The story

Founded in 2000 by community bankers to deliver SaaS-based correspondent and community-bank payment software, Juniper Payments built the industry's first 'Correspondent Gateway' connecting business customers through community banks/credit unions up to correspondent institutions and the Federal Reserve. Acquired by PSCU in May 2022 (rebranded Velera in 2023), Juniper became the payment-rails arm of the largest credit union service organization in the US — extending wire, ACH and FedNow access to ~2,500 financial institutions.
