The story

Founded in 2010 as a point-of-sale consumer finance company, Inbank from the outset embedded lending directly into merchant checkout rather than operating a traditional retail bank. Over 14 years it expanded from Estonia across eight European markets, growing from a single-country BNPL/hire-purchase lender into a full embedded finance platform serving 6,000+ retailers. The company now positions itself as a 'next-generation embedded finance platform' with a REST API layer enabling merchants to integrate consumer credit decisions in under 30 seconds, and has added green-energy financing, pre-loved car financing, and BNPL alongside its core hire-purchase product.
