The story

Four Winds Casinos is an enterprise gaming and hospitality operation owned by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, which opened its flagship New Buffalo, Michigan property in 2007 after a complex tribal financing arrangement. The operation expanded to four properties across Michigan and Indiana. Beginning in 2020-2021, Four Winds moved aggressively into online gaming, launching a Michigan iGaming and sportsbook platform via Kambi and subsequently partnering with Strive Gaming for operational automation and OpenBet for responsible gaming/AML technology — signaling an embedded-tech-forward strategy for both land-based and digital channels.
