The story

Forus S.A. is a 40+ year-old Chilean omnichannel footwear, apparel and accessories distributor — NOT a fintech. It is the exclusive Latin American distributor of international outdoor, action-sports, sportswear and lifestyle brands (Hush Puppies being the original), plus its own owned brands, operating in Chile, Peru, Colombia and Uruguay through wholesale and DTC (own stores, e-commerce sites, and third-party marketplaces). Since 2021 it has invested in digitalizing operations and building its DTC e-commerce footprint, but it does not operate any embedded finance products of its own.
