The story

ComplyAdvantage was founded in 2014 in London as an AI-driven AML, sanctions and adverse media data provider serving banks, fintechs, insurers and crypto firms. The company has scaled from a screening data feed into a full financial crime risk platform (ComplyAdvantage Mesh) with customer screening, transaction monitoring, payment screening and — most recently — agentic AI workflows that resolve routine alerts autonomously. It is an infrastructure vendor to the embedded-finance ecosystem, not a consumer of it.
