The story

Founded in 2013 as a ticketing platform for events in Scotland, Citizen Ticket has evolved into a premium software suite covering ticketing, accreditation, and access control for local and global brands including Glastonbury Festival and the Scottish Parliament. In 2021, the company moved beyond card-based payments by integrating TrueLayer's open banking rails to offer account-to-account payments, reducing interchange fees for organisers. By 2024 it had consolidated multiple event-tech brands (TicketSellers, Eventree) under the CT Group umbrella.
