The story

Founded circa 2020 as a sustainable fintech company in the UK, CarbonPay set out to combat greenwashing by embedding automatic carbon offsetting directly into corporate payment cards. The company built its card-issuing product on Stripe Issuing and Stripe Connect, launching CarbonPay Business Ctrl in 2022 for US and UK businesses. More recently the company has broadened its positioning beyond the carbon-offset card story toward a general-purpose corporate payouts gateway and expense management platform serving niche industries, operating branded products under secorepay.com and nautzero.com in addition to the core carbonpay.io brand.
