The story

Brite was founded in 2019 in Stockholm as an open-banking-native payments company. Rather than integrating onto card rails, it built its own proprietary network (Brite IPN) connected directly to 3,800+ European banks via local payment rails and open banking APIs. The company expanded from payment initiation (checkout) into instant payouts and a full data-solutions suite covering account verification, affordability, and source-of-funds checks — positioning itself as an end-to-end A2A (account-to-account) infrastructure provider for European merchants and fintechs.
