The story

Boss Money is the money remittance and fintech brand of IDT Corporation, a telecoms and fintech group founded in 1990 and listed on the NYSE. IDT leveraged its existing retail and mobile distribution network (BOSS Revolution) to build an international money transfer product, targeting immigrant and diaspora communities in the US and Canada. The Wallet by Boss Money (Elroy) product extended the offering into digital wallets and stored-value accounts, using Synapse Financial Technologies as BaaS infrastructure. Boss Money's embedded finance posture is primarily that of an FX/remittance platform with an adjacent BaaS wallet layer, not a standalone neobank.
