The story

Barclaycard Partner Finance (operating as Barclays Partner Finance for point-of-sale consumer lending and as Barclaycard for business payment acceptance) is the embedded/white-label finance arm of Barclays Bank UK PLC. It provides point-of-sale finance to UK retailers and merchants through automated lending decisions, and separately offers merchant cash advance (working capital) products to SMEs. The partnership with Liberis represents a move toward API-driven, revenue-based finance infrastructure, embedding alternative lending at the checkout and in business banking alongside Barclaycard's core acquiring proposition.
