Banqup is the SMB-facing brand of Unifiedpost Group, a European e-invoicing and document automation veteran that rebranded as Banqup Group in 2026. The company is positioning itself as a Peppol-ready compliance + embedded-finance platform for SMBs and accountants, anchored on the Belgian 2026 mandatory e-invoicing rollout. Unlike most embedded-finance plays that resell a BaaS provider, Banqup operates its own licensed payment institution (regulated by the National Bank of Belgium), runs its own payment accounts with IBANs across 12 EU countries, and operates an in-house open-banking/PIS hub via Banqware/APIHub.
